We'd had enough of being stuck inside the house so we decided to venture out to eat. A few weeks ago Baylor got an award at school for being the "Can Do Kid"! We rewarded her efforts and relieved our cabin fever by eating at Chili's!

Caed turned 9-years-old on February 2, 2011. He got a day off from school too, only because the epic ice storm in the previous post was hanging around, as it did for the next four days....

On February 1, 2011 we had an epic ice storm. The white stuff you see in the photo is ice, not snow. Caed decided to see of he could "skate" down our driveway on a skateboard with no wheels!

Notice the line and the dot next to it? It's a perfect match of the door handle and the door. Hmmm... it's funny the things you find when you start to upgrade things in your house!

Let me explain Brock. I love him like he's my own, I consider him my third child! He's a bright, energetic 2-year-old.
On this day, we were having a conversation about being a big boy and what that entails. We started with a list of things, like wearing underwear, using the potty, eating with a spoon, etc. At the end of the list he adds, "...and I cheat!"

On occasion, I watch Eli and Judah. On this day, Eli was at preschool and Judah was itching to get out of the house. We bundled up and took a stroll down the block!
